Modeling and optimization of luminescent solar concentrator for micro cell array module

Abstract

Monte Carlo ray tracing modeling is used for design optimization of luminescent solar concentrator for micro solar cell arrays. Key parameter is identified as luminophore selfabsorption. For DCM dye the optimum dimension is at the scale of millimeters.
