Abstract

A study is performed on molecular electronics technology. The emphasis is on the relationship between the molecular structure and electrical conductance and on the use of molecules for computational applications. The size, assembly and recognition, dynamical stereochemistry and synthetic tailorability of molecules render them ideal for electronics applications.
