Abstract

Numerical simulation for flow in grafted arteries with fluid-structure interactions was presented. Two graft models were developed using the software package ADINA, one that mimics the elastic vein graft and one that represents the engineered tissue. Results showed disruption in normal flow patterns in grafted arteries.
