Abstract
Monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) are discussed. They show promise in areas as diverse as cancer detection, body imaging, and industrial purification. Already MAbs have made such common procedures as pregnancy tests more sensitive, accurate, and simple. Clinical applications, in vivo diagnosis, and therapeutic agents are considered.
