Abstract

This letter describes the characteristics of two organic electronic devices - monolithically integrated transistors and light emitting diodes (e.g. smart pixels), and complementary inverter circuits - that are fabricated on flexible plastic substrates with low cost, low temperature casting and microcontact printing techniques. Both devices incorporate micron-sized features and have geometries and performance comparable to similar components produced with photolithographic techniques on rigid, inorganic supports.
