Abstract

“Library Voyage: Explore Chicago” is an iPad game used for the undergraduate library orientation at North Park University. The game, modeled after a video game training module, incorporates game-based learning principles that encourage exploration and discovery. This immersive approach was effective in meeting our learning outcomes for the orientation and developing students' sense of self-efficacy within the library.
