Abstract

The authors present a case of ossifying fibroma (osteofibrous dysplasia), a lesion which is rarely diagnosed due to its low frequency. Besides showing its rarity, they report on a case of an, atypical location (pelvis), since most OF cases occur in the tibia and fibula, and specially in children to the best of their knowledge, no report has been found in this location. The authors reviewed the literature about this lesion and its clinical aspects, and report on the therapy adopted for the case.
