Abstract

Spine and radicular pain are common phenomena. Some of the causes include degenerative disk disease, disk displacement, and osteoarthritis of the zygapophyseal joints. The pathophysiology of spine and radicular pain is complex. Treatments range from conservative measures, including anti-inflammatory medications and physical therapy, to decompression and fusion surgeries.
