N2 - Modern computer architectures are becoming increasingly parallel with each generation. At the same time, new, different and binary incompatible platforms are becoming more and more widespread on the market. This paper presents ILDJIT, a Just-In-Time compiler that aims at exploiting parallelism even when dealing with non-explicitly parallel programs, and the advantages obtained by introducing portability.
