Abstract
This issue of Pediatric Annals helps pediatricians deal rationally and confidently with the most common of neurological disorders - seizures and epilepsy. Because most seizures are benign, there is no need to prescribe chronic medications for most children. Others, however, require pediatricians' full attention and knowledge of newer treatments, other physiological symptoms or results of seizures, and how to instruct parents in dealing with seizure disorders.
