Previous research indicates that there may be too much politeness in pharmacists' communication with physicians. In fact, excessive politeness may actually undermine the goals of pharmaceutical care. In this essay, the author will consider interactions between doctors and pharmacists. In particular the amount of politeness that exists in pharmacists' communication with physicians.
