Abstract
A phase conjugate two-wavelength optical fiber parametric oscillator is demonstrated for WDM applications. It is possible to achieve four wavelengths FOPO by utilizing second four wave mixing process and controlling the pump chirp due to SPM. Multiwavelength FOPO will provide an effective way to expand the available sources with wavelength beyond the erbium doped fiber amplifier gain bandwidth. Moreover, its phase conjugate features offer exciting potential for all-optical signal process.
