Abstract
Random lasers with resonant feedback were studied and photon statistics measured. Comparison were made between the photon statistics of a random laser with resonant feedback to one with nonresonant feedback. The study revealed a change in the photon number distribution in a single mode from Bose-Einstein distribution to Poisson distribution. The change in the photon number distribution occured with a change in the pump intensity.
