Abstract
A method of growing and annealing single-crystals of Pt group metals and alloys is described. The annealing process includes oxygen treatment which proved to be important in obtaining high residual resistance ratios. The final residual resistance ratios obtained were 2200 for rhodium crystals and 4600 for palladium crystals.
