Abstract
We describe the use of microcontact printing and elastomeric molding for fabricating two types of devices that incorporate thin films of active organic materials: thin film transistors and plastic lasers. The simplicity of these techniques and the good performance of devices formed with them suggest their potential utility for emerging applications of organic materials in electronic and optical systems.
