Abstract
Pseudomyxoma peritonei, a rare disease, is characterized by accumulation of mucinous material in the peritoneal cavity and is commonly caused by ovarian tumors or appendicular lesions. This report presents the necropsy findings of an unsual case of pseudomyxoma peritonei in a man of 58 caused by dissemination of a mucinous adenocarcinoma of the stomach, hitherto unreported in literature.
