Abstract

This volume explores a number of exciting new approaches to the psychological understanding of individual lives. Prominent scholars in the study of personality and in social, developmental, and clinical psychology present innovative perspectives on discerning and developing "the story of my life" that each person tells and lives by. This landmark volume promises to make a major contribution to the growing literature on biography and personality and should interest personality and clinical psychologists, anthropologists, sociologists, biographers, and all who explore the structure and content of individual lives in a social context.
