Abstract

Correction to: Nature Climate Change. Published online 8 June 2023. In the version of this article initially published online, there were two errors on the left-hand panel in Figure 1c, where +/– “US$0.51” appeared originally as “51US$,” while in the expiration date, “CDT” appeared as “CST.” In the third paragraph of Box 1, a reference to Cerf, M., Matz, S. C. & MacIver, M. A. (, 2023) was missing. In addition, the format of the link in the Code and Data availability statements was incorrect and has been updated to read. The errors have been corrected in the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
