Abstract

Some topics briefly touched on are the following: the electromyogram (or EMG); the neural input being not accessible to measurement; models of muscle; surface electrodes; a model which transforms an EMG signal into an isometric force; experiments performed with elbow flexions; and the EMG being an indicator of kinematics.
