Abstract

We report an observation of radio-frequency (RF) -induced transparency in an optically dense medium of Pr3+-doped Y2SiO5. We observed that the optical probe field had a gain when the RF pulse area was 2π. We also calculated the RF Rabi frequency in the medium by measuring the period of RF-induced transparency.
