Abstract
Modern imaging techniques have allowed sophisticated evaluation of solitary pulmonary nodules. Such evaluation is essential in guiding decisions regarding further workup and management. Minimally invasive image-guided biopsy and ablation frequently constitute the next steps in management. Herein, the role of radiology and interventional radiology in the workup, diagnosis, and treatment of pulmonary nodules is reviewed, with a focus on the solitary pulmonary nodule.
