Abstract

The calculation of the differential two jet cross section in e +e- annihilation through next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) in the strong coupling constant αs was performed. Slicing and dipole sutraction methods were used in the NNLO. The calculations were performed using a method to deal with real radiation in hard processes. The two jet event rate was computed directly without any reference to the inclusive cross section e+e-→hadrons.
