Abstract
An unconditionally stable implicit-explicit algorithm for dynamic coupled thermoelasticity is presented. To enhance the computational efficiency, the expressions of the element matrices for the heat conduction and the plane stress elasticity are given explicitly without the use of any numerical integration formulas. The computer implementation aspects of these procedures are also given in this paper.
