Abstract

Quantum fluids and solids have been a primary topic in low temperature physics. While many physical concepts and experimental techniques developed in this field have made impacts on other related areas in the last century, recent research activities demonstrate active infusion of techniques and physical ideas developed in other fields. In this paper, we present a short review of the recent progress and new challenges in this field, focusing on the superfluid phases of 3He and 4He.
