Abstract
Distinct retinal findings occur in the setting of various renal and connective tissue disorders, highlighting the importance of recognizing these retinal manifestations as important adjunctive clinical diagnostic tool. When available, systemic therapies often prove most effective in the longterm resolution of ocular and systemic manifestations of these diseases. Advances in targeted therapies for retinal disorders have allowed new possibilities in addressing the ocular sequelae of these systemic diseases, with stabilization or at times improvement in visual acuity.
