Abstract

Epitaxial effects during film growth lead to Sb-Bi bilayers with very different microstructures, depending on the deposition order. These films have been annealed during in situ observation in a transmission electron microscope. Depending on the initial film structure, grain boundary or lattice-controlled interdiffusion were observed.
