Abstract
The decay search for the lepton-flavor-violatng leptonic B decays such as B 0 → μ ∓τ ∓ and B 0 → e ∓τ ∓ was investigated. The decay modes are found to be forbidden in the conventional standard model by the lepton-flavor conservation law. The Monte Carlo simulation was used to determine the efficiency for detecting the signal modes. It was observed that the leptonic B decays were generated with the τ lepton unpolarized. The results show that there was no indication of a signal, and upper limits on the branching fractions were also obtained.
