Abstract

This chapter presents a series of case studies with questions and answers on secondary brain and spinal cord tumors. It commences with a discourse on optimal management of the patient with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer, and ends with the management option for cerebral radiation necrosis, which has randomized data supporting its use. The chapter also discusses on optimal management of the patient with papillary thyroid cancer after complete radiographic resection, management of patients with single brain metastases, and preferred management of progressive brain metastases.
