Abstract

The preparation of a doubly cofacial porphyrin trimer consisting of a Zn mesoporphyrin - Zn mesoporphyrin - mesoporhyrin stack is described. The optical absorption and fluorescence properties of the molecule as a function of solvent are also reported.
