Self-coherent differential phase detection for optical physical-layer secure communications

Abstract

We demonstrate a polarization independent receiver suitable for self-coherent M-ary phase-shift keyed signals. The receiver measures a M-PSK signal from a quantum noise randomized encryption system and decrypts it to binary format.
