Abstract
A study was performed on the simulation evidence for lateral excitation transfer in a self-assembled quantum-dot array. The individual hole states exhibited wave-function splitting between several dots in the array. The near-field scanning optical microscopy results showed that electron-hole pair energies with narrow resonances were seen in the photoluminescence excitation spectra.
