Abstract

The coefficient of the (l^l^)2 lnl^l^ term in the gradient free energy of superfluid A3 at T=0 is calculated and shown not to vanish. This disagrees with the conclusion of Choi and Muzikar, which is argued to result from a subtle limitation in the region of validity of an approximate Green function. The result is also compared with some results of Volovik and Nagai.
