Abstract
A single mode of the electromagnetic field in pure state with photon distribution of the same form as blackbody radiation, i.e. p(n) = (1 - A)An, and real photo-number expansion coefficients, is shown to have a large amount of phase squeezing with a low uncertainty product when the mean field passes through zero.
