Abstract

The Stegeman figures of merit for third order optical nonlinearity in hybrid semiconductor nanocrystal polymer films were presented. The measured fractional transmission and scattering spectra for a 200 μm thick CdS/PMMA film was also presented. At 815 nm, the total optical loss of the CdS/PMMA film was found to be 3.7 cm-1.
