Abstract

Plane strain stress intensity factors for cracks along the inside corners of internally pressurized hexagonal subassembly ducts have been calculated by various methods and compared. The objective of the work is to characterize the tensile stress field at the tip of a crack in an embrittled LMFBR subassembly duct corner.
