Abstract

We report investigations on structural and optical properties of InP/Ga0.47In0.53As superlattices, grown by metal organic chemical vapor deposition. The composition of the layers and the stiffness of the interfaces are now perfectly controlled, after optimization of the growth conditions. We observed excitons at room temperature for the first time in this system.
