Structure, mechanism, and reactivity in single-site olefin polymerization catalysis

Research output: Contribution to journalConference articlepeer-review

As part of the continuing efforts to expand the array of available cocatalysts, a study was carried out to design and synthesize a new series of sterically encumbered metalloid and transition metal cocatalysts based upon the perfluoroaryloxide (C6F5O) ligand framework. As a result, effective cocatalysts were prepared involving aluminum, niobium, and tantalum centers and which contain no metal/metalloid-carbon bonds.
