Abstract
The use of the dimensionless fall velocity for determining equilibrium foreshore slopes, modeling of natural beaches in the laboratory, and for determining shoreline erosion rates is examined. Encouraging results are found for relating foreshore slope uniquely to the dimensionless fall velocity and possible model law is proposed. (A)
