Abstract
The isotope effects in the photoionization of HI and DI were discussed using phase lag spectroscopy. The energy dependence of the phase lag provided examples of continuum and resonance coupling effects. The analysis showed the phase lag spectroscopy as a sensitive technique for studying properties of molecular continua.
