Abstract
A new strut containing an imldazolium tetracarboxylic acid core has been successfully incorporated into a microporous material using paddlewheel- coordlnated copper(II) Ions as nodes. Sorption studies conducted on this permanently microporous material imply that it can separate carbon dioxide from methane with high selectivity.
