Abstract
Single-crystal magnesium borate, Mg2B2O5, nanowires were synthesized on MgO substrates using boron triiodide and boric acid vapor (BI3/H3BO3) as precursors and platinum/palladium (Pt/Pd) as catalyst. The conductivity of an individual nanowire was measured.
