Temperature dependence of the reversal mechanism in spin-valve films

Spin valves (SV) and exchange-coupled films are investigated based on thermal behavior using in situ experiments in a Lorentz microscope. The magnetization reversal of SV materials is analyzed using in situ magnetizing combined with in situ heating. The thermal effect on the reversal of the free layer and the decrease of the exchange-bias pinning with increasing temperature are demonstrated.
