Abstract

A framework for active streams, a middleware approach for building distributed applications and services was discussed. The scheme allows a dynamic approach to servicing applications and resource handling by the use of streamlets. E-Code, a subset of a general procedural language was deployed in the scheme for dynamic code generation.
