Abstract
Alan Turing was best known for his work in two areas: mathematical logic and computer science in 1970. Turing had solved Hilbert's Entscheidung-sproblem or the decision problem before the World War II. He introduced the concept of the Turing machine to solve this problem. After World War II, Turing turned to the foundations of computer science, including his famous popular paper on whether a machine can think, which introduced the 'Turing test', the original imitation game.
