N2 - We present first results on K0, K+, π+ and π- production associated with Φ mesons in K+p interactions at 32 GeV/c. The data on total cross sections and Feynman-x distributions are well described by the LUND model for low-ρ{variant}T hadron collisions and support the model prescriptions for the flow of initial valence flavours. Comparing data on "prompt", non-diffractive K+,0 with "prompt" K890*+,0 production, we speculate about possible evidence for an important role of initial valence quark spins in the hadron fragmentation process.
