Abstract
High-resolution Monte Carlo simulations of a discretized version of the restricted primitive model (RPM) electrolyte were carried out to account for the constant-volume heat capacity. Periodic boundary conditions were employed. Results confirm that the constant-volume heat capacity is a useful quantity in the study of the critical behavior of the RPM for ionic fluids.
