Abstract

Jean Hirons presented the latest developments regarding the definition of serial and the bibliographic description of serialesque works. In particular she discussed the modified model C, a conceptual model for separating the bibliographic world into monographic and ongoing entities (as opposed to the current separation into monographic and serial); and incorporating entry, a proposed method for handling title changes for electronic journals that impose the new title on all of the older issues.
