Abstract

Recently in Nature Synthesis, Itami, Segawa, and co-workers report their synthesis of an armchair carbon nanobelt with the topology of a Möbius strip. This recent breakthrough will capture the attention of chemists studying the molecular nanotopology of carbon nanostructures.
