Abstract

The (f_{7 2})ⁿ model of Kutschera, Brown and Ogawa provides a very successful and consistent explanation of the excitation energies, strengths and shapes of nearly all the transitions to the low-lying levels in ⁴⁸Ti and ⁴⁹V which are excited in (p, t) reactions.
