Abstract

Using Keldysh's technique, a kinetic equation is derived for the phonon distribution function in a clean (without impurities) superconductor, which takes into account the effect of an external high-frequency electromagnetic field on electron-phonon scattering. It is shown that the absorption of the field in acts of electron-phonon interactions induces generation of phonons. The frequency distribution of the phonons generated by pulsed fields is calculated for the cases T//c minus T less than equivalent to T//c and T less than equivalent to T//c (T//c is the critical temperature of the superconductor).
